The Mother Station son originarios de Memphis. Tienen mucha influencia de los Black Crowes, entre otras bandas, muy Sureño y algunas cosas de Blues. La potencia vocal de Susan Marchall me llamò mucho la atenciòn por su fantastica e increible fuerza. Realizò coros para Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lenny Kravitz y M-Clan entre muchas otras bandas. Buenas melodias y mucho Rock Sureño para esta banda que solo grabò un disco en 1994 y se disolvio.
